  • Shannon

    Pronouns: she/her

    Shannon is an expert in long layered cuts and short clipper fades but truly enjoys working with hair of all lengths and textures. She also has extensive experience with hair extensions. Her color specialities are highlighting for your features, focusing on a natural grow-out, and grey blending.

    Shannon has been delivering exceptional service for over nine years. She considers her work a true art form and finds immense joy in helping others look and feel their best. Shannon also has an Associate of Arts in Business Entrepreneurship from Los Angeles Trade Technical College.

    Outside the salon, Shannon enjoys exploring new restaurants, listening to podcasts, taking lap swimming classes, and spending time with her family and boyfriend, along with their two dogs Cali and Porscha.

  • Logan

    Pronouns: they/them

    Logan, often called Lo by friends, is a non-binary stylist with over a decade of experience in the hair arts. A NELA local since 2015, they specialize in hand-styled, air-dried, lived-in cuts that are easy to wear, and they also enjoy creating vivid colors, balayage, and gender-affirming haircuts. Logan strives to provide a comforting and warm environment in the salon, with their favorite part being the opportunity to meet all the wonderful new people who come through.

    When not in the salon, Logan can be found at home in Highland Park with their pets—one dog and five cats—tending to an edible garden and various indoor plants, or playing music in the neighborhood.

    1. They have lived in more than 10 different states, but consider themselves “from” the Midwest.

  • Rita

    Pronouns: she/her

    With 13+ years of experience, Rita is skilled in a variety of hair cuts and color, but she especially enjoys painting dimensional color, creating blonde looks, and cutting a solid bob.

    Rita attended the Aveda Institute in Chicago and has received special training from Wella, Sassoon, and Davines; she also continues her education yearly. She has a degree in Art History and a minor in Business from the University of Utah. She is an avid learner and occasionally takes classes at the local community college for personal interests.

    When she's not doing hair, you can find her at the farmers market on Sunday mornings, spending time with her husband and toddler, admiring art, enjoying a concert or comedy show, or planning her next trip!

    Pronouns: she/her

    Tyeler specializes in effortlessly styled cuts for all natural textures, gravitating towards low-maintenance haircuts like shags, while also embracing edgy, punk-inspired looks. She employs both wet and dry cutting techniques, along with razor application, to achieve her signature aesthetic.

    She received her license in 2014 and began her career at Capella Salon, where she mastered her dry cutting technique on textured and natural hair.

    Her color specialties include bold redheads, blended baby lights, and edgy color blocks.

    When she’s not at the salon, you can find her listening to podcasts with her cat or planning her next live show to attend!

    Frenchy is a beauty renaissance woman! She loves Low maintenance lived in color, long layered cuts and short bobs. More than anything, she's crazy about a full styling sesh, complete with makeup and hair.

    This beauty guru has been in the industry for 18 years. Her experience includes working with brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, MAC Cosmetics, and NARS. Ultimately, Frenchy loves to stay up to trend and create fresh looks for her guests!

    When Frenchy's not doing hair you can find her hanging out with her 3 boys and amazing boyfriend, planning their next adventure to a national park, or trying out the latest beauty products.

    As a native of Los Angeles, Monica embarked on her journey in the beauty industry through Paul Mitchell Education, accumulating a decade of experience. Over the years, She’s had the privilege of working with diverse hair types and connecting with people from various demographics, having lived and practiced in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. Beyond her career serving as a significant creative outlet, she finds immense joy in bringing looks to life for her clients. Building meaningful relationships and rapport with clients is what truly makes her work rewarding. The opportunity to connect on a personal level adds a unique dimension to her passion for hairstyling.

    While Monica is a true homebody at heart, she’s always eager for an adventure and loves to explore. Trained in advanced techniques by top Paul Mitchell educators, she brings both expertise and creativity to every appointment.

    When Jenni’s not behind the chair, you’ll likely find her at home, cozied up with her three cats—Winry, Kakashi, and Myla—playing video games, competing in Pokémon tournaments, or immersed in a D&D campaign with friends.

    Pronouns: she/her

    Leanna is a well-rounded stylist all together. Freehand balayage is her favorite when it comes to color. However, she also enjoys playing with textures, doing long layered haircuts, curl cuts, and personalized keratin treatments.

    Leanna has 7 years of experience which includes training at Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, following an apprenticeship with top colorists and stylists at Benjamin Salon. This is where she learned and mastered a wide range of skills. She now applies this expertise everyday behind the chair.

    When Leanna's not doing hair, you can find her cuddled up with her 2 cats on the couch watching Harry Potter, scrolling through Pinterest looking for a new dinner recipe, finding an adventure to go on with her husband, or catching a flight back to the east coast to catch up with family.
